The digital camera records pictures and images electronically. It does not necessarily work on electricity and operates even on battery. The electronic form of these images is easily recognised by computers and the language is referred to as pixels. They are small coloured dots. The CCD attracts electrons when it comes in contact with photons or other light particles. These diodes respond very well to light which implies that when the light is bright, more electrons would get attracted. The prices of these cameras are getting lower and lower. The cost of CMOS sensors is low and the manufacturing cost is lesser than that of CCD sensors. The working of the CMOS sensors and CCD sensors are similar as both convert the light electrical charge into photosites. If you want to shop for a high grade digital camera, then you need to give thought to certain features. Check out for the image quality or the camera resolution. If the resolution is higher, it would give a better clarity and you also have the flexibility of enlarging the picture. Choosing a camera with a good digital zoom as it would help you get a clear image. |
