Find Olympus Camera Digital at Amazon

For numerous time now I've been looking for the best little digital camera. I wanted a point and shoot, to carry around when I don't have the Nikon D80 with me. I wanted something small, with effigy stabilization, optical zoom, plus very good shutter speed.

In the end, after all the exploration I've done I decisive to go either with the Canon SD 870, 850 IS or the G9. They all take very good photos, crispy and light, with a good IS. You may even zoom in and the images will still be sharp. If you take those photos at ISO 400, they will end up with less noise or the same noise as a D80.

The cameras I just noted are little and rather good. The Canon 870IS is a little camera, which may fit effortlessly in the pocket. The 850 was a present I made to a great deal of relatives of mine for the duration of the holidays and they are exceedingly satisfied with the photos it takes. As for G9, it's a camera that may shoot videos as well, and it's one of my favorites so far.

The prices of the cameras I cited so far:

Canon Powershot G9: $500, with an optical zoom of 6x and 12.1 megapixels

Canon Powershot SD870IS, that has 8 megapixels, a 3.8x optical zoom, at a price of $624

Canon Powershot SD950IS, priced at $400, with a 12.1 megapixel solution and 3.7 optical zoom

Canon Powershot SD 850 IS, at $300, with 4x zoom and 8 megapixels

Another digital camera that was suggested to me was the Olympus SP-570UZ. After looking around for a bit, I think it's a camera that may be carried effortlessly when you want to take a photo without carrying a DSLR with you. The camera has a good sensor, very good zoom, effigy stabilization and a huge aperture. The price is also OK, at a price around $400 - 500. This version is the third that was launched in this series.

The storage of the Olympus SP-570UZ may be done on xD cards, which you need to buy separately. The camera also ships with editing software, which is called Olympus Master 2. I particularly like the 20x optical dual effigy zoom. The 10 megapixel solution makes sure that you may print photos at a 18 x 24 inch size.

Some of the technologies that come with the camera are dual effigy stabilization, face detection, perfective shot preview and shadow adjustment technology.

5Functional with a touch of style
By Gadget Girl
I purchased this for my mom's new digital camera, specially to make sure that the camera didn't break and that there was someplace to store any extra cards. This handy neoprene case does just that. It's simple and functional. My worry with regards to leather, altho it looks stylish, is will it be cushioned sufficient if the camera falls or gets bumped. Well, this case, because of the neoprene, will cushion any blows and see to it long life and use of your camera. Good purchase.

5Just perfect!

Even even though it is soft, provides the perfective security for my camera. I purchased it for a Kodak V1003 and it fits utterly and have extra room for another battery and my card reader. It doesn't have space for chargers or any other type of cables but since that wasn't the goal of my buy i'm giving it 5 stars, thought you will have to know anyway. :)

4Nice, not incisively what I expected.
By Kissyfur
Mostly I like this case, but I do have a couple issues. First, since it was supposedly designed for little cameras like my Olympus 770SW, I don't grasp why it isn't a little more form-fitting. I could have gotten a little universal case like this at any Target or Fred Meyer store-my camera practically swam in it. Second, the pockets in the front and back are open on top. At least one of the pockets must close-with velcro or a snap or something-to keep tiny things like memory cards from falling out. I likewise wish it had more than just a velcro flap to hold it closed. On the plus side, the neoprene is soft and cushiony, it has both a velcro belt-loop and a carrying handle, and is little sufficient to fit in a coat pocket. All in all it is a nice case, just not rather what I had hoped it would be.
